Tri-Borough Women’s Month Celebration at Riverside Studios A beautiful day of connection, storytelling, music, and recognition – celebrating the strength and spirit of women in our communities.
Hosted at the iconic Riverside Studios, the event was co-led by Malombo Music Association and HubDot, with the inspiring Simona Barbieri (Founder & Director of HubDot) and Pinky Miles-Bahula at the helm.
A soulful performance from the African Jazz Quartet opened the event, setting the perfect tone for a joyful and reflective celebration.
Rhys Williamson, Programme Manager at Riverside Studios, welcomed everyone and shared the rich history of this cultural venue.
Highlights included:
A heartfelt Open Mic and vibrant sing-along led by Talibah Rivers – thank you for your warmth and energy.

A special thank you to Fran Bridgewater FCIM for donating wine and non-alcoholic drinks.

A key moment was the launch of the Tri-Borough Health Equity Community Hub, introducing the Wishing Tree – inviting guests to pledge time, skills, or resources for the betterment of our communities.
